Little Farmers Term 4! (October 6th)

Spring is in the air as we get ready to welcome our Little Farmers back for another fun filled term :)

This term we focus on ‘growth’.. the flowers are blooming, the veggies are growing and the baby animals are a plenty! The children will be needed on the farm to help harvest their food, tend to the flowers and nurture our fluffy new residents. The bees are busy making pollen and the newborn goats are jumping with joy.

This term is currently booked out. Term 1 (2027) will be released early December

Our first Big Farmers! (November 9th)

Youve heard of Little Farmers…. well this one its for the big kids!! The women that want to learn how to turn their own land, standard backyard or otherwise, into a mini farm!

This 4 week course is ran by me (Farmer Shel). Running every Monday to teach 6 lovely ladies how to grow veggies, plant fruit trees, seasonal planting, bee tending, how to build worm farms and run compost systems using scraps from your kitchen, what does soil need? And how do we propogate cuttings? Basically the cool stuff in life!

This is no men and no kids allowed. Just a bunch of girls making community while building knowledge!

Apply for upcoming Big Farmer courses via a form and you will be contacted if you get a place! :)

“Thanksgiving” Community Dinner (November 25th)

Were not centerpiecing a turkey! But we will be sharing “first fruits” in a long table feast!

A ‘thanksgiving’ for the land and each other. Good company and pure intentions. Every guest will bring one plant based dish. Using at least one ingredient from your own bakcyard, a community garden or a roadside farm gate or local farm.

Think rustic seasonal aesthetic, nestled deep within our community garden here on the farm, with wooden seating and local native wildflowers and raw, colourful spring produce scattered on the table..

We will chat, sing, mingle and set written intentions together throughout our dinner and plant them in the soil.

We will acknowledge the land in which we gather and storytell our way around the table for community connection.

More details coming soon!
